Presenting Snapchat iOS style ( or you can say KitKat style ) for Android



Main Feature

KitKat Transculent Status Bar ( or iOS status bar )

Apk lighter then play store version

Features seems too little?? Maybe some suggestions what else can be done??



Of course saying much does not prove anything, so seeing is believing ;)

Mainly Snapchat themself for their Android client

The peeps at stackoverflow for providing most of the codes

Of course XDA for their forum

Google for their transparent framework which you guys need to run this app

My friends who took some time to test the app out for me ^^ , @ipromeh too

Anyone think i missed out their share?? DM me and tell me how or which part of anything i took from u :cowboy:​

Requirement to install this and how to install???​


1. Your device must be Android 4.4 KitKat and above ( Root is not needed cheers )
2. Download it into your phone, dont know how?? Google is always online :D
3. Maybe u would want to uninstall the original Snapchat app from your phone to avoid conflict
3. Make sure Unknown Sources is ticked at Settings> Security
4. Install it duh
5. If you looked up you will notice i put " 3 " twice

Nono its not about the base haha, its Facebook them self messing around their codes. Currently what I can't fix is the Facebook header is overlapping the status bar. I will give it a last try today and if all fail, maybe I will decide to move on to another app... Meanwhile I am fixing Twitter and may have found the cause to u guys fc

Updated after so long

SnapchatMod has been updated to the latest version and of course, Android L supported with the colorful status bar :)
You still can use it on KitKat

Currently I am in the midst of updating Instagram
Twitter has taken extra steps to improve their app as Twitter app on Android L has L goodies, so TwitterMod might be discontinued.

So stay tuned guys,

For Snapchat Mod can you please add option of adding photos from Gallery to Snapchat? That'd be perfect!! :good:
