I added a new version (1.5.2) in the first post. Let me know if it's working.
I don't know if your memory problem is the number of apps or one particular app. The log you sent me was a crash while loading a 512x512 icon ( the max is 192x192 on XXXHDPI) requiring almost 1 MB of memory. Now, the list load the icon each time it need to be display so I do not keep all icons in memory.

Thank you. This version is working fine
One thing I have noticed is that at "Dismiss Notifications" the text under "Apps" is the same as at "Log Notifications".
One suggestion. Maybe a whitelist mode would be more handy where you can choose these apps that should be logged and not the other way arround

Default v1.6

The version 1.6 is added in the first post.
It let you choose between 2 modes:
  • a black list mode: log the notifications of all apps except the apps in the black list
  • a white list mode: log the notifications of the apps in the white list only
