Ntfs shares do work, but is not officially supported and you need to share them manually by editing smb.conf

Is there any chance you can update the UI so that the Enable/Disable buttons are in the main screen and not tucked away in the menu?
Would also be great to be able to create an Android shortcut to the app in toggled enable/disable state without having to open the app's UI?.
Thanks for continuing to support this app. ☺

Just tap the Samba logo.

But yes, it would be more user-friendly with labelled buttons.

You need the dev-version from first post.

Hi

First of all, thanks for this great app!

It works well if i manually change the path of [sdcard] in smb.conf. However, this file is overwritten every time i restart the samba server so it is annoying to have to edit it every time. Any solution for this?

The second shared folder works fine because the path is the right one in the smb.conf

I am using the 130413 dev version from OP.

EDIT: Solved, i have found the option to not overwrite smb.conf

Thanks a lot

Thanks for making this work again after long time. However i rushed into getting excited too fast.

the app installed fine from play store on my Galaxy S4 4.2.2 but i get very frequent crashes too often especially when the server is being used. I noticed however that the operation is not affected during the fc. Only the icon disappears but i can still copy to and from the share.

Any help on this?

Default White list overridden by media mount event

I noticed that when I am not on a whitelisted network, file sharing will start up anyway if there is a media-mount event on my device, such as if I hit the "Mount SD Card" button in the Android Storage Settings.
