hello,

I just received the HTM T1020. MTK6572, 4.2.2, 4.5", 512M, 4G,3G,2 sims, wifi photos. google playstore, mystore (?), some nice apps, custom launcher ( deleted because my antivirus told me that it contains a trojan (?)).

1) Rooting:
cf Xda. via framaroot Barahir exploit.

2) Backup:
mtkdroidtools 2.4.8 ( which didn't able to root the HTM T1020).

3) Vulnerabilty fixes:
I've downloaded the multiple vulnerabity fix module from Google play ans installed Xposed framework via XDA.
The first 2 vulnerabilities are already fixed on the HTM (via bluebox).

4) Feedback:
I like this HTM T1020. Responsive. Not a battery hog. For 50 bucks, yes, I dare.

htm T1020 gps+battery+wifi
Hello,

After more 24h usage, here are my impressions.
The battery charging is fast (1-2 hrs). The battery stands upto 24hrs with daily usage: web navigation, mails, phones, wifi,3g,photos, gps ...
1) gps: using Google maps. Without any tweaking, the first usage was a little bit painful
. I put search by satellites, it gave me wrong positions and hicupping.
After one hour or so it became "stable". I was downtown walking and riding public transportations and back to home. The battery drained out completly.
This morning I create gps.conf via mobiluncletools.
Google maps shows quickly my position.

3) battery:
I install battery doctor, seems to be ok with HTM.
The charging is quick.

4) wifi:
Is good. The wifi signal capture seems to be better than I am used to with other androids (cheap ones) and specially my gt-i9001.

Of course it's draining more on the battery.

I have uploade a screen capture but don't know how to insert it here.
