Default Freedom on HTC One M8 - hosts file

Every time I use Freedom, it writes a line in the hosts file with clients.android.com and mtalk.google.com. I know the fix for this is to just delete the line but it's constantly reappearing. Is there a way to disallow the hosts file from being edited?

You will find no help here with that app. It and all talks of it are banned here as it is a Warez enabling app. Some developers have even starting having it check for that app and asks you to remove it or the app FC
