Hello,
I've upgraded my little gt-i9001 from cm10 JB 4.2 to cm11 KitKat 4.4.3 last month. The result was a big battery drain.
I thougt my battery was faulty...
But some users have reported the same problem.
Hopefully, the XDA team bas released the KitKat 4.4.4 .
I've taken the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version.
Result: No more battery drain.

The gt-i9001 is my very first KitKat android...

gt-i9001 cm11 KitKat 4.4.4, battery 2000mAh
Hello,
I juste want to report that I have changed thé stock battery 1650mAh to 2000mAh. It's a extra life duration for my little hacked gt-i9001 with cwm, cm10, cm11, my very first android, with XDA help.
The battery charging is quick (circa 1hr or so).
Thé battery usage duration is good (despote I use mostly wifi) ans stands for 24hrs. Standby runs for 2 days.
I'm using since yesterday battery doctor from Google play. Dies stand-up to its promises.
Only thing: due to thickness of thé battery, a bulged back cover is provided with it. For me it vives me a better hand grip.
Thé battery heat seems to be lower than orignal zone ans with GB 2.3 .
I try to picture a picture....
