The device spec. as follow:
OS: MS pocket pc 3.0
CPU: ARM SA1110, 206 MHz
RAM: 32MB
Flash size: 32MB
Flash chip type: 28F128
Data bus: 32 bits
LCD: 240x320 TFT
Colors: 4096
Model No.: PW10A1
ROM version: 3.14.17 ENG
ROM date: 10/11/02
Radio version: 4.16
Protocol version: 32S54
And I have browse through every page and function at setting, I can find no place to let me input unlock code.
However, if I insert my sim card in XDA, it can't get the network. I just phone my mobile provider, he tell their mobile network is GSM 900/1800, which XDA manual tell me that it work in this network.

Hi Carfield,
To find out if your XDA is SIM locked, just put your sim card in the XDA and wait for a screen which askes to enter the unlock code (after you entered the SIM pin code). If this screen does not appear you're XDA is not simlocked to your SIM. Second thing is to find out out which band your mobile provider uses. If you bought a european version, the bands probably supported are GSM900 and GSM1800.
Make sure the settings are ok. Click Start, Settings, Phone and check the Band tab and the network tab.
By the way, there is no such screen in which you can enter your unlock code.
good luck, Corjan

Thx, seem my phone is not locked, I have check my setting many times, the network tab can't get the network, which is a small local band. And my phone setting don't contain a band tab. What it for?
Besides, is there any reason that XDA can't get the network, except it is broken?

Dear Carfield,
Sorry that this is off-topic. My name's Jonathan and live in Hong Kong too. I am seriously tempted to buy a XDA. But I also heard from other users that the signal reception of XDA is poor. I really need a phone with good reception capability and I worry that the signal reception issue of XDA. Does it work well in Hong Kong? Also there is a topic in which owner complained that once the phone enters a low/no siganl area and then re-enter an area with signal, it takes a long time (some reported 10-15 mins!) to re-acquire the siganl. Does that happen in Hong Kong? And also some owners reported that the other party heard loud echo over the phone.
Sorry for some many questions but I really need you help!!!! Thanks a lot!!!!

uh? No Band tab? Every Pocket PC phone edition should have a band tab.
Once again: Start-->Settings-->Phone
In that applet you should see the following tabs:
- Phone
- Services
- Network
- Band
- More
In the band tab, try another band
