We've got a Mr. Handsfree in the car because i've got a Nokia from my work and my wife has got a Sharp GX-1 (GX-10 plug for the MR. Handsfree) phone.
I've also got an Locked XDA for private

Because wanna use my XDA in the car i was looking for a car kit.
I couldn't find one that was cheap plus my wife doesn't want a second car kit in the car.

I was looking at the jack plug from my wife's phone. And tought: "why shouldn't i try it with my XDA" And guess what: IT WORKS.

It sound's loud and clear.

So, if you'r looking for a cheap solutiuon:
Buy an mr. handsfree and a sharp plug (maybe there are more compatible plugs but this one works).

I have a Mr Handsfree kit for my Nokia 6310i, if you can you confirm that your phone has had no ill effects from this connection I might just purchase one. Does it also charge the phone while allowing conversation?

It seems that there aren't very much problems. Maybe a slight echo.
But hey, the cable costs around €20,- so that's not much.

The XDA wound't be charged with the because is uses the input/output from the headset.

I've heard that there will be an XDA cable from Mr. Handsfree later this month or in march, but this are rumours so i don't know for sure.
