Creating a SPV Digital Camera driver for the XDA

The digital camera attachment that comes with the SPV Smartphone fits into the XDA. The next step is going to be to write a driver for it. Some poking around with the port should reveal something.

I would expect the camera to be returning a constant stream of data in a strange format which I would then have to interpret. Does anyone know what this format may be? Has anyone tried anything ilke this before?

i noticed palm also have a camera for the sd/mmc slot, wonder whether this could be used for the xda..

Probably not the right sort of driver as this cam uses the SD interface (NB /not/ SDIO), rather than the expansion port. Incidentally, this cam's not too bad, and the s/w is excellent.
