Dear all,
Does anyone knows how to make SIM toolkit available on the XDA machines? I have MDA with firmware 3.14.02 ENG from T-Mobile Czech.
There is no access to the important SIM toolkit applications (banking, info, news..) on my SIM card as the standard SIM Manager doesn't support this feature.
Since the SIM Toolkit is not supported I have to use another mobile for accesing the SIM toolkit and this really bother me. :?
Please, let me know how to make it working.... :?:
Thanks
Martin

According to Zviratko ROM version 3.15.15 should provide you with the SIM toolkit application. For further info read his posts in the ROM update forum.

Try 3.15.15, 3.16.13 has ST as well AFAIK... or try 3.16.43 :)) (25/02/2003) :))

Zviratko:
I don't think 3.16.13 has SIM Toolkit. At least I haven't seen it on my Qtek with 3.16.13, but it could of course be my SIM that is not SIM toolkit enabled. Also, you have previously been very clear about the lack of SIM tookit in 3.16.13 and used that as a reason to go for 3.15.15 instead.
Do you know what's the difference between 3.16.13 and 3.16.43? And where to find 3.16.43 for download?

3.16.43 is a testing version of T-Mobile Czech ROM, not publicly available. The final version will be out during the next 14 days (that's what I've been told).
I just can't remember what 3.16.13 was like - i have had it only for a few minutes before I banned it from my MDA :))
3.16.43 has plenty of features from the previous ROM's - Sim toolkit, GPRS Always On and PAP Authentization...
...and a feature I have not yet seen anywhere - Wireless Modem - It shuts down the whole TAPI (I think - the signal reception indicator disappears) and allows you to connect with a notebook or other device through the MDA as a dial-up modem. After stopping the service, the GSM indicator is started again.
To my surprise, it doesn't have ISDN data call type like 3.15.15, but most people won't miss that one.
