If you're unable to sync after flashing the new Special Edition ROM, its possible that you're using either IR or a Serial Cable to sync. Neither of these modes seem to work with the Special Edition ROM - DONT PANIC and try your USB Cable as that is the only one that works with the Spl Edition. If you use a USB Cradle all the time (unlike me) you wont face this problem. Cheers !
