I strongly suggest you don't go there....apart from invalidating your warranty, the chances of the bootloader accepting the image is zero...besides, both the Sagem and Trium were not designed for PPC2002 as such..so PPC2003 is a no-goer.

I had a chew with some guy who ignored all advice and tried this on his Sagem...now it's a brick.

Have you been told its possible?

I'm fairly certain there is no PC2002/03 upgrade for the Mondo.

I once witnessed a Mondo being reflashed by a Trium engineer at O2.

They were so protective they would not allow access to their ROM upgrades.

I emailed once to enquire about new RUU, but sadly he never replied.

I believe there was also a WM2003 rom for the iPAQ 3600 series that never saw the light of day outside the developers bench, its a pity really when the capability exists for the ARM based pda to be updated but for reasons of monetary gain will never be released.

just to let you know on some first-hand experience in doing this. wayyyy back i used the mondo. and then of course the 02 xda came out and the trium went to the shelves. after i sold my xda to upgrade to the xda2; i figured i'd try fiddling about with the old mondo. so i recharged and set hem up again; and then tried upgrading the software to ppc2002...result was as predicted...now it's a brick and there's no way to get it working again. i don't really mind doing it because the poor thing has been sitting in the shelf for quite some time. can't sell it anymore so i went ahead with my little experiment. so....if you're planning to upgrade your mondo...unless it's an official rom or software from trium...better be prepared for the worse.
