I like the idea of having a password to use the XDA, and i firmly believe that all passwords should be strong ones. As the password on the XDA is case sensitive i find i usualy need to use the on screen keyboard to type in my pass word, but my XDA has worked it self into a state where i can't change out of the transcriber to enter my password. I'm about to try a softreset but if thats whats needed this is a serious issue

when you soft reset it should put you back to the default keyboard input panel. Unless you reg hacked transcriber to be your default input, in which case all I can say is write ever so clearly and pray! :? :(

Make mental note: if we ever create an alternative bootloader, make sure it can wipe the OS password.

id like to know which of the programs you've installed has taken away the ability to change input method when entering passwords, i've never had it happen in normal ppc, but then i've only had a xda 7 days
