hello people :D

i was wondering, can you play MP3's through speakerphone?

how loud is it?

could some test it for me, as i do not have an XDA yet?

is it good quality sound?

I wouldn't really say 'speakerphone', but 'the device speaker' instead.

Speaker sound is good enough to hear what's playing. I guess it really depends on your standards and expectation whether it's good enough.

Its ok if you're in the bath, or in the garden, if you're in the car you might prefer to either use a headphone scoket lead to feed it directly into your amp or via cassette adapter if you have an older stereo.

I even used it on the beach the other day!

Sound is ok, but distorts slightly due to the lack of case resonance on lower frequencies. Although its suprising how loud and clear the device is when playing back wavs/mp3 on the device speaker!
