activesync from today screen

hi people....
ok this is the story...

i was upgrading my XDA with the latest radio stack and it failed and crashed.

I am now unable to use the XDA...

However i didi discover that i can get top the today screen by pressing the volume bottom..

i cant however get to the start menu, thus get to activesync

does anyone know a way to get the activesync working so i can try and upgrade the the xda radio stack, to get it to work.....

preferably without the use of an SD card.....
