What do i need to backup in case my XDA turns into a brick

Hi developers and the guys here,

what do i need to backup in case int he future my XDA turns into an expensive brick...

I dont know am I right in this...
but you need to backup the bootloader, CE ROM and GSM, then i am safe??
just in case I got GSM error or my bootloader cocks up in the future, I just needs to reflash back the respective and it will work again??

please correct me if I am wrong..
