USB win98 driver

I bought a XDA from Germany and would like to upgrade with the new ROM from XDA-developpers.
But before all, Win98 ( mine is a french one ) does not want to recognize that german O2 :oops: . More that half a day I read throuhg a lot of forums but have seen not driver or questions about that problem. Has someone the solution ?

Silly question, but have you installed activesync to communicate with the xda, or not?
Win 98 does support USB and you don´t need a special driver or the xda. You only need activesync . You can get a free copy of it directly from M$, or use the cd shipped with the xda...
