Insert SIM card and enter PIN???

Well I successfully loaded the SE ROM and was unable to unlock. Use the phone for a few days with Cingular service and then I get the following message: "Insert SIM card and enter PIN, Emergency Calls Can still be made." Any ideas? The SIM Card works fine in other phones and the unlocking works for a short period. Also, I can do a soft reset and it clears this message and can make outgoing calls for like 15 minutes now then blam!

Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

You have a flaky SIM connector. Try cleaning your SIM with alcohol and try if fumbling with the rubber that covers the SIM reproduces the problem.
