Reset Problem with PPC2003 4.00.16

I have turned the XDA on several times now and the device has started up as if it had a soft reset. This seems to happen at random. The only software I have installed is ClearVue Doc and Worksheet. Also installed Fonix Voice Apps for voice dial. Has anybody else had this problem or does anyone know why it resets its self?

I used to have the exact same situation with my PPC2002 XDA...I fixed the problem based on a tip from another user--remove the SIM card and then reinsert. You'll probably notice that the frequency of occurences decreases dramatically. I kept doing it and now I never experience the symptoms (at least the last time it happend was about 6 months ago). It's weird but it worked for me.

My XDA used to do that once a week, until I read a thread about it.
All I did was to jam a small piece of paper into the switch that detects wether the sim door is shut or not. so the switch is always pressed.

Sounds simple but it really has fixed it.
