I'd like to use my Pocket PC as a modem with my notebook, but the notebook does not have serial ports (just USB)
have Pocket PC through TMobile - flashed the rom using v1.02; 3.17.03.
My notebook computer (Toshiba Satellite) does not have a 9pin serial or built in IR... have several USB ports and could add IR on one of them but would like to know the best options. I'm not sure what other options might be available - so again - suggestions would be great.
Mainly would like to be able to pickup email while driving (automatically). Light internet browsing while using PPC as modem -=-- but if I could use it as a modem to dial using ACT! while using a headset that would be great.
