PC 2002: MSN messenger doesn't work

Due to some situation, I had to do a hard reset ... everything is OK except the MSN messenger ... I installed the latest MS update ... but still doesn't work ... no error message ... just the login screen with the cursor rounding and rounding ..... :? .... IE and ICQ and Imov are working fine .. so, it's not a web setting problem.

Any advice on how to trouble shoot this problem ??

are you sure you have installed the latest pocket pc version of msn, this one can only be done via activesync and your pc! otherwise it says service not compatible...

I didn't install MSN as it's part of the ROM ... I only installed the latest MSN update "FOR" MSN ... I wish it gives any error to start from there ... it just go rounding and rounding and ..... :cry:

I've got the same problem.....residing in Saudi Arabia, started using GPRS a couple of months back, everything works fine except MSN Messenger, I upgraded the patch (even though upon upgrade it told me that it was already upgraded?) When I try and sign in it just says "signing in" with the bloody timer going around around, the longest I've left it running is about 15 mins still no JOY!.... HELP!!

Hi ...

Since I upgraded to WM2003 it works so fine. Go for it if you are still on PPC2002.
