please help!! ok here is the story. Last night i was following someone in the back yard in the dark when I fell in a pool with my t-mobile xda on me. When i got home i dried it off in every way posible for a couple hours. Put it on the charger went to bed. Woke up the next morning to find a pretty little screen with red blue and green colors on it that said "Wallaby Bootloader v5.15". I toyed around with it and found the diagnostic tool when i pressed the action button. I ran all diagnostics and they all said ok. I was like cool. Got on the internet and started reading. Found the best site imaginable (this one). I have been reading for about a total of 5 hours. Well after all my reading here is what I have accomplished. I quickly went out and bought a s/d card and a reader/writer. I used jeff kitchen to make every possible rom for the t-mobile in both .nbf and .nb1 formats. I used the bootloader method to flash the rom and when I reset it still comes back to the bootloader. I dont know what else to do. PLease help!! here is step by step what I am doing.
1. Download roms from jeffs kitchen have tried both (.nbf and .nb1)
2. unzip roms and copy them to s/d card using reader writer
3. put s/d card in the t-mobile pocket pc and press the soft reset button
here is what the screen says:
S/D Download
=================
card type:
ce os
Press action
to download
or
Press rec
to EXIT
4. then I press the action
and it says please wait for downloading
and it does count to 2,000,000
once count is finished it says:
download
complete
checksum ok!
cold boot
to reset
5. I do soft reset again (only thing it lets me do)
and bam right back to bootloader.

How do i get my OS back!!! crying (well not really crying)
But please help!

Your power button is stuck in the pressed position, or water has shorted the switch.

send it off to someone with a pbc cleaner also best taking the back casing off and remove the abttery from it so that electrolisis doesnt occur and make the board conenctiong corrode.

sounds like you dried everywhere BUT the power button. in theory, u need reset + on to bootload.
make sure the power button is not wet or stuck-on ;)

For anybody else that may get their device soaked. DO NOT SWITCH IT ON. DO NOT CHARGE IT. Place it in the airing cupboard o somewhere warm for at least 24 hours, a hair dryer can speed the process. Your patience may be rewarded with a working machine.
