Hi,

some of you know DesignLab http://mobil.designlab.de/skins.shtml They created the XDA Skin Chooser. I installed it on my MDA II yesterday and want to delete it now. Everything is de-installed (application itself and most of the skins, I think) only one is left! Also using Recso Explorer and searching at the Registry won't show me the last one: the one you can see when having a look at your last calling list.

Right now I need your help. I love "clean" systems and therefor I really want to delete EVERYTHING of XDA Skin Chooser http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?catalog=1&jid=641X82937E298B5A8F5F9XA81CA494CA&productId=40963&authorId=149028%A7ionId=0&productType=2&siteId=1&platformId=2

Please tell me where elese I can take a look...

Thanx very much...

Hi,
Can't help with the de-installing bit - Sorry
However I just want to ask did the 'XDASkinChooser' software work OK on a XDA II, I want to change my skin but want to make sure the software works OK first. Handango where I downloaded it from said it was for the XDA only not the XDA II.
Good luck with the de-install

It depens on the fact if you have installed it in the default map.
I installed it om my storage card. There you get several folders, one of them called the XDAsinchooser. with an empty skin subfolder. There are also other folders created, called wood and chrome, with a subfolder skin.

Anyway: look where the pictures are in the subfolders. The subfolder containing the pictures must be moved to the skin subfolder in the XDAskinchooser folder.

I have only added the wood and chrome folder and added a Kyliekin folder. All the rest I removed using the programm deinstaller in the setting>...etc

When installing the xdaskinchooser on your XDAII choosing to install on your storagecard, you'll be prompted if you want to replace several items by older ones. I tried several times not to. But that doesn't work.

When choosing replace all. Everything's OK.

Works fine for me on my Qtek 2020 (=XDAII)

Otherwise use the XDAskinchooser to install the default one and then deinstall all...

By then you must have your orriginal skin back. Also on your last call list.
