Is it possible to display tasks and events on the today screen without installing any additional software.

I want to have birthdays, appointments displayed with few days in advance.

when i make a apointment in my callander and add remind me bla bla bla
then it show on the today screen as std

yes but i want to take the dates from the Contacts list and disply them with a couple of days in advance

asuming you mean you want the dates from the callander and not the contact list (because my contact list sure dont have dates)

then if you put remind me 2 days or something like that in your appointment then it will display on the today screen under the appointments cat
