[OT] www.mynevo.com: extract and burn into rom

Have you ever seen a program called Nevo that is into the iPaq 39xx rom? It's a very good remote control program. Actually the software house do not sell it as a PPC product, but only to hw companies.

I was wondering if you think it could be possible to extract it from an iPaq ROM image (nb1 or nbf file) and eventually cook into the XDA rom.

Any hint is very wellcome

If have tried the sharware version of this software (which is avaible on the web).
And it doesn't realy works to well on a XDA. This is becuas you have to be realy close to the TV to make it work. The Ir port on the XDA is just to weak to make this tool work.

Are you sure you are talking about Nevo? I coundn' find any shareware version of this probram. AFAIK they produce it only for enbedded system (they call "Nevo enabled system").

Regardless of the program, the IR port on the XDA is too weak to work unless you have a booster on your coffee table or nightstand.
