unlocking xda ii

so xdaunlock doesnt work with xda ii , does the developpers rom work , o2 asked me £400 + £15 to supply me with an unlock code
any help is appreciated

The developers rom is for XDA 1, personally I would pay especially as O2 are refusing to unlock others for any price.

having upgraded to an unlocked nokia communicator every year for the last 6 years with o2 at a cost of nearly £ 300 a year , i am not sure that this payment is justified , they have had all the time in the world to get part of their upgrade costs back from my bills ( approx £35-£40 a month since 94) ,
i mean i had to pay for the xda II over £280.00 for the upgrade , it is not one of your pay as u go type of contracts
i have complained to oftel and will let you guys know what kind of reply i get .
in the meantime if anyone gets a working program that unlocks the XDA II please let us know .
