Seems MS botched this one - WM2003 has a limitation of max 32 active processes (I could live with that, if it wasn't the phone or BT-Headset that kept closing :roll: ).
I disabled my CityTime Today-applet after reading the thread, which I had noticed to be quite busy. This improved my phone and BT stability considerably.
Not a solution - just a workaround.
