Hi all. First post. Looks like a handy forum for a new XDA2 owner...

My unit gets delivered tomorrow (£170 from Uplands.co.uk on a £35/month contract), so naturally I'm busy reading everything I can get my grubby hands on before it arrives. One part of O2's online guide (www.my-xda.com/pdf_downloads/10304%20Xda%20Guide.pdf (http://www.my-xda.com/pdf_downloads/10304%20Xda%20Guide.pdf)) mentions the first-time setup screen, which will prompt me to choose between the Personal setup or Corporate setup.

My guess is that the Personal setup will leave me with the branded O2 Active home screens / today page, while the Corporate setup will give me a 'vanilla' MS Mobile 2003 system with no O2 branding. Is this correct?

I don't want all the O2 money-grabbing Active crap so I think I want to choose the Corporate setup. Will I lose any functionality if I do this? Will the O2 SMS, answerphone, MMS, GPRS all work OK? Presumably I'll need to configure some services manually, but that's OK, as long as they're not disabled in the machine.

Many thanks for any info you can give me. I look forward to a long and prosperous membership of this fine forum! :)
