I finally got round to switching service from horrible AT&T to T-Mobile (US).
I have an XDA that originally was a T-mo device, it was running the T-mo image when I got it 10 months ago. I had issues with T-Mo back then so I switched to AT&T Wireless. While I was with AT&T, I was running the AT&T image. -Now that I'm swtching to T-Mo I want to run the T-Mo image.
So... I downloaded the 3.14 ENG image from the TMO website. (Including the radio stack).
I ran ADAPTROM to make the upgrader run and went about "upgrading" my device to the TMO image.
The upgrade process went fine. The device rebooted and came up with the TMO OS.
So far so good.
Next, the device itself started upgrading the radio stack. This is where I ran into problems. The radio stack upgrade dies at 1%, giving me a popup message that says "Failed, press ok to restart device"
I have now successfully re-imaged my XDA back to the AT&T image (and radio stack) and everything seems to work.
So... What did I do wrong? What should I do differently?
I apologize for asking if this has been discussed in previous posts......
Thanks
