Hi

I tried the microsoft voice command software, and i wasnt very impressed. Theres no training involved, and it wasnt very accurate.

Plus, a lot of my contacts are not english names, so it would be very difficult for it to recognise them.

Additionally, i found that any kind of background noise made things worse. And far more problematic was that it failed to recognise anything when using the headphones. hence its not going to be very useful in the car!

Im not interested in open and closing apps using my voice, just in dialling contacts, in the car, with noise around.

Anyone found the perfect app for this

I've been having similar problems. However I'm still using the old XDA hand-free. Have you tried using the new hands-free for XDAII????
I'll try it out in a few hours time.

Look for Fonix Voicedial
Works like a charm on the XDA, vene had "Dial a number" 010475xxxxx
For non englisch names, just make a "prononce" and speak the name of the contact in the mic.
