Just wanted to say thanks XDA for the generic version of the Mobile PC 2003. I flashed my rom yesterday and it's doing a fine job.

Someone posted earlier on the forum that they could not get IE or GPRS to work after the flash. I ran into the same problem. How I got mine to work was to go into Setup Your Proxy Server and then check ONLY the this network connects to the internet. Leave "This Network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet" unchecked. Works fine this way.

I ran into a similar issue when I flashed it to SER 1.2. All I did that time was leave APN blank. Then it worked fine from there.

Something I did notice on both ROM's. If you have the phone in the cradle, and power off the PC, it does not charge like it normally does with the OEM ROM. Any ideas on this?

I also bought and installed the MS Voice Command Software. I have to give them credit, even with version 1.0, I am very impressed. Works like a champ!

I do have one question, although I am running the latest RSU from AT&T, 20.10, I have never seen it available for download from there site or Siemans. Has anyone else noticed this?

When they do come out with an update for the RSU, where does one usually go to get it?

Thanks again XDA!

Randall

What rom version did you flash? I am an AT&T sx-56 user and I am very interested in which rom versions work and which version don't. I haven't seen many postings on this forum relative to AT&T and mpc2003 (or for that matter 2002).
