This sounds panfuly familiar. It was along thread of discussions about ipaq 1940 verus 1920 screen. I have also noticed that usually first batches of the new PDA's have better screen the next ones. The same thing was with Sony NR70. Fisrt unit I got wa perfectly white, replacement one was yellow. So, that's I am trying to get a first batch of the new PDA's ASAP.

I just got a replacement for it :D :D
now back to the bright white screen by Sony :)
