Has anyone this great app?
http://geocities.com/myppcpe2003/index.htm
Maybe a key for it?
I'D like to use it
It appears to be the best prog that I've looked for to switch my XDA2 to a changeable caller profile phone like a nokia!

I liked this app initially, great interface and lots of functionality, however I found a few problems:
Sometimes after changing profiles the ring would be silent when it should be heard - the dialog would pop up showing the caller, but no sound.
You can set it to automatically revert to the normal profile after <n> minutes, or at a certain time. For me this only happened when the XDA was on - thus if it should have switched profile and then a call comes in before you have switched on the device it still uses the wrong profile.
If these problems can be sorted it would be a great app.
As for a key... go to PocketGear and but it!

Yeahh..So It's not a perfect software again.
Do you know any program that analyze the caller from the contacts and you can select for example just one number or one goup to receive? The other ignored or silent like Nokia phones.

I have come across MUTX RingToneX which allows you to set ring tones by contact or category so this may well give you what you want. Can't tell you how good it is, but you can get a free trial from the link below:

Thx for the answer but I'm looking for an app with easy switching between sound profiles.
For example:
A) MODE
Every unknown number has RINGTONE1
FAMILY group has RINGTONE2
FRIENDS group has RINGTONE3
MY CARALARM SYSTEM (has a mobile calling function) has RINGTONE4
...etc.
B) MODE
Every unknown number is silent or ignored
Every other group than MY CARALARM SYSTEM is silent or ignored
MY CARALARM SYSTEM is ringing and answered (at night while I'm sleeping I want to receive just the call from my car's alarm system)
It's just a simple thing that a lot of phone's using. (Nokia & others)
I hope somebody understands my problem and knows an apllication with the ability I wrote above.
Thx

I think (not sure!) that you need a combination of two programs:
JGUI My Phone Profile AND IA Caller ID (OR Caller2picture)

I think (not sure!) that you need a combination of two programs:
JGUI My Phone Profile AND IA Caller ID (OR Caller2picture)
THanx the answer but I'm sure (not think) :) that I don't need the combination you wrote because My phone profile can switch just sound profiles with setting the ring volume or vibrating, IA caller ID can add a picture to a call, Caller2picture can add a ringtone and a picture to a call.
But I need what I wrote upper, please read it perfectly, because it is something different.
I need a software that has the ability to verify a caller-group and for example you can reject all number/call except the caller-group you set like with Nokia phones.
:o ANYBODY DOES UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANT??????? :o
Maybe because I'm from Hungary and my english is not so well..... :?

If you have an XDA II, you don't need to get the IA Caller ID because it's already on the XDA II. IA Caller ID is called Photo Contacts in the XDA II.

Caller2picture can add a ring tone to a group. Whenever you want to reject a specific group, give it a silent ring tone.

:( :? :x
So..Nobody understands what I want.
OK.
Tekflow:
Thanx, but I know that I can set a silent ringtone for a group with one of these softwares. But I NEED SOMETHING DIFFERENT:
I have a car within a mobile-phone-alarm-system. If somebody does something with my car, this mobile (in my car) calls my mobile phone which is with me. So, usually (always) I switch off my phone by night. But if I switched off my phone I would never know my car's calling. That's why when I had a Nokia7650 I can set a profile called Night-profile which has the settings with all calls + all groups has a silent ringtone and my Car-alarm-number has a loud-sirene-ring. That caused when somebody called me except my car my phone was silent. When my car called it ringed with the highest level. And if somebody wanted to stole my car I had heard it. But not now. Because I don't want everybody to call me from 6 a.m., that's why I switch off my phone, but if I switch off my phone I can't hear if my car's calling me.
That's what I can't set in my XDA2.
With no any of your suggested programs.
I know all of them, and I know none of them has the ability I wrote upper.
SO........SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS WHAT I WANT TO SAY SINCE DEC.05.??????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????
p.s.:I think so that FingerClix is the best dialling program for the XDA (I use it), but I need another thing, not just for dialling or to give a ring volume for all numbers and groups. My phone profiles can set just a general volume and vibrate settings without any choice to give a different volume for just one group or one phone number like Nokia.

If I understand you: you need a program that gives you the opportunity of turning off the sound of the telephone for all incoming calls except one number or one group of numbers, or, better, to make call barring for all calls except for one number or one group of numbers (some kind of filtering). I also don't know if this kind of program is available for the Pocket PC Phone. Anyone on the forum aware of this ?

I think what Tuningszocske want is something like Blacklist in Nokia Symbina phones. I know of a Chinese program call CallerFirewall, it allows one to add contacts to black or white list, you can choose to block all contact in black list, receive call only from white list or block all incoming calls etc. This program is compatible with dopod686、O2XDA、T-Mobile、and LegendT108.

First of all thank you for everybody for the answers.
Tekflow, you really understands what I exactly need.
Do you have any idea, why doesn't come to any programmer's mind to write a program for this trivial phone application? I think we have a very poverful pocket pc with a very-not-smart phone. But the reason I bought the XDA2 to own the best PocketPC and the best mobile phone in one piece.
But the second is not the best........
YCNEOSG:
That sounds good but I didn't find any program called Caller Firewall or similar. Can you send me this program or a link for it?
Maybe somebody - like Towa for the bluetooth - can write the software we need. (I hope I'm not the only one who need this) I would pay for it! Maybe others would pay.
So, good programmers, here's an order :P for a good program to filter calls. I think it should be a simple program, anybody cares the graphics or anything, just to set receiving the wished (maybe this is not the correct word for it, sorry) numbers.

I tried but my XDA doesn't recognize the characters. I know you wrote I need a chinese plugin if I need it but my question is if I have the chinese characters this is the same, because I don't speak the chinese and I can't read the chinese characters. Do you have an idea to use it in english?

Frankly, with all due respect, parking your car in a closed car park with security might be an easier way for you to get the good, relaxed sleep you are after!
It will take some time before you get proficient in Chinese or someone takes the time to write an application for this not-so-very-wildly-sought-out feature.
Cheers,

I'm not sure it is a not-so-very-wildly-sought-out feature.
My needs are special, but the application that can do these, can do for example if you are a serious man (I think there are a lot of businessman who needs it) you might need an apllication that can seperate your calls when you are on holiday or somewhere else where you want to reject your calls except your family or friends. Although it is if you are a serious man who have a lot more calls then others. And some case you need rest but you want to ignore your calls that disturb you.
And I think it is a more useable program for the people than for example an astrology-program and a lot of totally useless apllication for most of people.

Yes, you're right, it is an easier way to park my car in a closed car park with security, but maybe a lot more expensive. And I think it's not a special need because almost all the mobile phones has the ability for it. And it is important to notice you are not always your garage. So, maybe need this thing when you sleep somewhere else than your home, or when you are on holiday too.

Here's an idea. You can use the one of the caller group to ringtone software (IA Caller ID etc) to assign a silent ring tone to all but your car alarm. That would work. You just would need to remember to activate it before you go to sleep. I am sure you could get almost what you want using a combination of existing products. Good luck.

Maybe I'm not the right, but IAcallerID is a program to assigning pictures, not ringtones.
Second problem is I can't make a group for all numbers, because there's no option to select all and give them a group in the XDA. And you can say I have to do it one by one, but for hundreds of contacts? :(

This program was originally written for the Chinese version of XDA, there isn't any English version that I know of, I also don't have the knowledge to translate the program interface into English. If you're really interested, I can explain to you what each option will do.

I'm really interested if you'd explain the options. But I noticed there's two different versions in your zip-file. First is an .exe after runnig the setup, and another .exe in the zip file. I noticed the two .exe file are different versions.

Copy the .cab file to your device "My Documents" folder through activesync, then use "File Explorer" to execute the .cab. After installation done, copy the .exe file to replace the one in \Windows\ directory (don't ask me why need to replace the .exe file).
This program was written by SmartWings Co., Ltd, I got no luck searching for the company web site.

All the steps you wrote I had done. I thought you know the using of the application :) , and you'll tell me which menu is what. So all your information I know. I found the 'about' menu, I saw the 'SmartWings Co., Ltd.' too, but I didn't find any result neither for this firm on the internet. The thing is why we have to replace the .exe file, I'm sure is because the .exe is an update. I tried without replacing and it works, but menus are others. So...that's all.
Now we need somebody who can translate it for us.

You are the best two guys! Thank both of you! Alkandery75&Ycneosg are the good men. Now I have what I wanted!!!!
Thanx to Ycneosg for the app and the setup.exe, and thanx to Alkandery75 for translating. It was a very-very big help for me.
When one of you will come to Budapest, he will my guest for a section of beer :P or guiding in our beautiful town.
Every end has got a good end
Now it works.
p.s.: I don't want to get the whole world, but I noticed some mistake in this program. When you add a new contact it can accept just numerical characters without '+'. It's a problem, because if I want to set an international number, it's impossible to set. Another, in the options menu if I select the 'Receive White List Only' it selects the 'Block Black List Only' too. It is not ligical. When I unchecked the 'Receive White...' after, the 'Block Black...' had still checked. And this is the same with 'Block All Incoming Calls'. Another problem (I'm really glad with this application at all  ) is when it blocks a number the application doesn't divert the call to my voicemail because it rejects the call after the first silent ringing (but a small beep) and I have a missed call. With these all I'm still happy.
If you have an idea for these problems I'm waiting your answers!
Thanx again&again

I gave a try to smart filter as well. I tried trial version, it run successfuly first time, then I had to soft reset by device. After that, it continuously gave me error "could not open databases. aborting" whenever I tried to run it. I tried reinstallation even but with no success. I didn't try CallerFirewall yet, so can't comment on that. But I hope, it'd not be some trial version :).

Also, there's no other free caller blocking out there yet. So I'm just wondering if there's source available so that maybe some more advanced features can be built-in and that it can be made more english-friendly?
