How does the XDA II vs the IPAQ 5550 used with a bluetooth Sony Ericsson T610 phone. I currently own the Sony Ericsson T610 Phone was thinking of buying the XDA II. Is the XDA II PDA better then the IPAQ 5550. I dont mind having to carry 2 devices, but if the XDA II is a better device then i might think of ordering one. I need some advice from some one who has used both the XDA II and the Ipaq 5550

Hi, That was my thinking too, so I bought an HP 5550 and a t610 three month ago. At the beginning, i used to pull the ipaq each time the telephone rang, took me a month to get used to. The wireless function of the hp5550 can be easy added to a mda2 (80€) via SD card. I didn't want to carry the mda the whole time (going out, motorbike) Also has some problems with MDA + Fax. Had some problems with the hp (drivers) but all have been resolved. I would say MDA for private use, HP 5550 + T610 for business... Both same speed, almost the same software. Take a look at the software fgsm 3.x ...
hope i could help a little

5555 ofers the following that the XDA II cannot; biometrics, WIFI, ipaq expansion packs.
1. biometrics = cool, but not important to most people
2. WIFI = seriously sucks down the power on the 5555
3. ipaq Expansion packs = Great products but it seems to me that hp is ditching that form factor. and at least providing crapy support / updates for the ones the have.
