View Full Version : wireless radio is off!!!

when i try and use the phone it asks me "The wireless radio is currently off do you want to turn it on", so i click on yes and nothing happens. I am putting the sim in the right way round and am closing the plastic flap after it correctly, i am currently trying to use a UK orange sim card,

My details are
ROM Version 3.17.03 ENG
rom date 05/15/03
radio version 4.21.00
protocol version 32S54

are you sure it's not sim locked ?

I've put in xdaunlock.exe and it comes up its already unlocked.

Does it work with any other sim card, has it ever worked.?

Try turning it on from the boot loader and see if that helps.

Do a soft reset while holding down the power button, once in boot loader mode press the Calender button.

BTW confirming you do have service, right!

Ive tried an irish o2 card and it works great, ive tried doing the soft reset and pressed the calendar button, but what do i do then as it comes up with a gsm list and when you select one it does it and comes back to the list. Hope im not sounding too thick.

Sorry about that, to exit boot loader mode just do a soft reset!

I feel you, I'm working with a guy right now who has the same problem.
He had his phone unlocked and it worked for about a week then balm!
