The "MsgQueueDataFileMicrosoft Broadcast Message SMS Protocol (Recieve Only)" files are eating up my memory big time! 2.71mb on a FEW of them? What are they for? Should I get rid of them? How can I get rid of them (since they seem to only be read-only in a way)

They can be found in the Windows folder in case you're not familiar.

Those files are used by the SMS handler and you cannot delete them. To my knowledge they are stored in compressed form and they do not use much of a space, as most of their content is 0s.
