Heelllllp, my xda is not waterproof!!!!

Hello Everybody,

Today, my xda became very wet, because it was falling in the water. I've open the xda and at this moment it's drying at home. The screen has a blak spot about 1 inch. Does anybody know what my chances are to get this device working again.

Not sure on this one :(

Might be just the screen thats damaged, but I think this is the most expensive part of the XDA to replace...

Maybe someone else with a bit more experience can reply... sorry :cry:

I put My Palm505 on top of the throne in the bathroom which unfortunately has a rounded top.
And before anyone say echhhh! it was AFTER I hv flush ok? Thats when I switch to the dark side an bought a Xda. :(

I'VE DROPPED MY PPC ABOUT 32720755 TIMES....STILL WORKS PERFECTLY, JUST THAT THE CASING IS EXTREMELY DAMAGED :oops: NOW WHEN PHONE RINGS (VIBRATE ON); THERES A REALLY LOUD RATTLING SOUND...SO IM ON THE SEARCH 4 A DUMMY

I FIND THAT U SHOULD ALWAYS DO A SOFT RESET AFTER DROPPING UR UNIT ON THE CEMENT :wink:

waterproofing...definitely on top of the "must have" list for the xda3 :D
