Ok, I now know how to:
1. read GPS data on the XDAii
2. program the XDAii to send SMS
3. establish to run my own software upon hard reset
This means I can hook an XDAii (or even XDAi) inside my car or motorbike, and upon the alarm system indicating a problem, reboot the device (which need not be fed electiricity continuesly) automatically
and trasmit data / my gps-position.
Question: I assume the same can be done with a cheaper/simpler IPaq
that has GSM external module (which doesnt support voice even).
What would be the cheapest complete programmable-SMS-sender pda?
For obvious reasons, I'd like to program for WinCE, so an old Treo180
is out of the question (I like having \windows\startup and C# developement)
