Vodafone Australia users who wish to use WAP over their GPRS connection will likely receive little or no assistance from Vodafone support, as they don't seem to know their network settings.
Here's what I'm using to surf (using my XDA) on Vodafone Australia:
Access point name: vfinternet.au
DNS 1: 203.2.193.124
DNS 2: 203.8.183.1
DNS settings weren't required, but my name resolution seems a little faster than if using server assigned DNS
Software compression: On
IP Header compression: On
WAP Proxy: 10.202.2.60
or WAP Proxy: 207.232.99.109
This proxy address is an open public WAP proxy which anyone on any network can use.
WAP Home URL: http://live.codafone.com
Follow up:
SMTP Server: smtp.vodafone.net.au
MMS Proxy: 10.202.2.60
MMS GPRS Access Point Name: live.vodafone.com
MMS Server URL: http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend
