Although one never knows :), I don't think HTC will release an XDA2 device with 256 MB RAM. The thing with XDA1 was that at the time when the 32 MB device was launched, 64 MB was a standard with other PocketPC PDA's. So they decided to produce also a 64 MB version in order to be able to "compete".

More realistic rumours follow the move to a screen resolution of VGA 640x480.

Toshiba have produced devices with this in a 4inch screen. PPC 2004 appears to be a native 640x480 resolution. So keep your eyes out.
