hey,
although i am not planning on upgrading my xda2's rom anytime in the future (warranty-purposes and it was issued by the office) i do have a question.
when i was using an xda1, the rom upgrades stated that you have to use the cradle and the power adaptor. following the next set of instructions then resulted in upgrading to whatever rom was desired.
for the xda2; when you sync the unit is able to charge via the usb cable. i read somewhere in one of the topics that it's the configuration of the xda2 that allows it to get power from your pc while in sync (correct me if i'm wrong). my question is: if you were to upgrade your xda2; would you still need the power cable attached to the cradle?
