Hello!
I want to upgrade my MDA. So I wanted to check out the BootLoader of my devcie. When I press the on/off button and hold it while pressing the left reset, the screen stays empty and nothing happens. If I let the power button go, then it performs a normal boot.
Can anyone help me?
I dont whant to make an 'EXE'-Upgrade...

Never tried it myself, but there is a tool from the Developers here to fix the bootloader.
http://www.xda-developers.com/XDAtools/
Seach a little bit here around....

If indeed there is no bootloader I would suggest you definitely get that fixed before attempting any rom upgrade otherwise you could end up with a paperweight rather than a pda/phone.

This sentence with the 'paperweight' is written many times here!
But no risk, no fun... or?
I will try to fix the bootloader and I will write here again about the success...
Thank you for the answers,

I just used the XDA-Tools to restore my bootloader.
I never killed it, but it wasn't there!
So I choose to fix it. It worked! Great Job!
I had a SD-Card prblem till now. Everytime I inserted a card my device makes a reset. Some research found that one of the pins in the slot were bended. I opened the MDA and fixed the Pin.
Tomorrow I will check if sd cards are working now!
If yes, then I will move to a newer ROM and from 2002 to 2003!
Thank U guys!
See ya...
