I have the AWS WM2003 upgrade (NK.NBF) and I'm trying to find a way to convert it to an nb1 file to write to SD so I can load my new rom. I have the 4.00.05 ENG right now, and trying to run the utility generates that I dont have a compatible version to upgrade from.

Any ideas? (sorry I'm still a little new to this)

Which Version is the AWS WM2003?

Normally yo should be able to do this with the XDA-Tools
Take a look at

http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=4865

NBF means, that the file has the rom (.nb1) and the bootloader (.nb0) included...

ROM version A.30.07ENG Radio version A.33.02 Protocol v 1.3.3 So I should just be able to copy just the NBF to the SD card and then run bootloader?

yes, the xdatools will detect what type of file you have. and process it accordingly.

I am not familiar with those rom and radio versions. are you sure they are for xda 1. They may be for xda 2 and this is why you cannot install them.

For xda 1 the latest rom released i know about is the one by tmo 4.01.00 and the latest version of radio stack for A devices is 3.25.01. for B type devices I am not sure but I think it is 6.24
