I have a SX56 that's a year old and locked to ATT and I want to switch to T-Mobile. Reading here at the forum it appears that I must:
1) Save my existing ROM image
2) Load ROM v. 3.17 onto my SX56
3) Boot up SX56 and select "yes" to unlock when I'm asked.
4) Reload my orignal ROM image
Sounds simple, but I've some questions. Can I use the usb connector/cradle that came with the SX56 or must I buy the serial cable:

How do I copy my ROM to my computer and then back again?
Has someone posted any screenshots?
