manipulator works fine but I see no IMEI

Hi folks. complete.. newby here and really struggling to understand some of this stuff. I have done the soft reset, connected the cable, ran manipulator, however all I see is two entries Statsu: Ready and SID lock <none>
there is no other info displayed at all? The radio version is 3.25.01
any idea why I cant see or reset the EMEI?
