why ?
you can just do a hard reset and the xda will be back at default once more
the os is on the rom

If you have deleted something, which cannot be repared by a hard reset, you can always do a sort of rom upgrade, because they load the complete version ( I Think), You can find those upgrades on this forum

Well the strange thing;
I use the autoconfig (start-progams-Auto config)
it will reinstall something.
When heb I go to start-settings-menus my 'Explore files' is gone and I have duplicates of Active sync, Inbox, Internet Explorer, Notes, Phone & Tasks.
One of each duplicate has a check. But I cant delete the duplicates..
So I think it's wise to reinstall my PPC b/c a hard reset won't do the trick..

Well, I have an imate. When I upgraded it, the upgrade software format every thing and reinstall (clean) windows. I think there will be some cases where Hardreset is not helpfull enough.
That's about my imate. I think the same for your XDA II.
(this is my first post here, so HI to everybody)

If you havent messed with the extended rom then a hard reset will reset it to factory defaults.
