My Battery Won't Charge and No Power From Mains.

I purchased an XDA from ebay, but when I try to charge it with the supplied lead, the unit will not operate. The light goes red briefly, then amber, but the XDA will not switch on.

I want to use the XDA with a Tmobile SIM Card, but the phone is not yet unlocked. I believe that if an unfamiliar SIM card is inserted the unit should still work, but display a box requiring a code.

I have tried a soft and a hard reset, to no avail. I used to own an Ipaq where the battery died due to lack of use, but the unit worked when connected to the mains.

Any suggestions? :?:

cause i am having the sam eproblem as well.

My phone just stopped charging.
