can anyone help me to use my xda as a phone?

i had my first xda and was very happy to have one until this morning. i upgraded my 2002 to 2003 and setting it up for easy use.
while i was changing the phone settings i checked the 1900 north america network setting. and restarted my xda. untill then i cannot be able to use it as a phone because the network of my country is 900 europe.
i am trying to enter the phone settings but it doesnot respond.
can anybody help me to solve this problem? i am really locked right now... :( :( :(

Try to go to the GSM menu in the bootloader ... select the right band and soft reset ... you can get the GSM menu by pressing the Calendar button while in the bootloader mode.

:) i am really very happy to have such an informative answer from you. but as i mentioned i am a new xda user and donnot have any idea of what the bootloader is. :cry:
can you please give me a detailed information of what i need to do?

I have the pw10a device and had the same problem with my device after palying with GSM bands [tried to use in north america].
I tried all options in the bootloader both 900 and 900/1800 and after reset - it still do'nt wrok.
Can you help ? :roll:
