what's the problem with t-mobile.

Hello all.

My friend own a T-mobile, Now he is in china. before he come to china, eveything is ok, when he come to china, the phone function con't used, so he find another guy reflash it with dopoda rom,
But still can't work, and the gsm control application can work, and not signal in the task.

My question is
1:If i reflash it to Specical Edition v1.2 rom, can i fix the problem.
2:how can i make the phone function works in china.

Maybe guys can't not understand, let me make it more clear.

1: There is a T-moible bought in USA(maybe, I don't known sure, But I can sure it's T-Mobile).
2: It can't work when It in china, Someone reflash the rom, using DopoDa to replace it, but still can not work.

my question that is:
Is the possible make it work in china? How can do it?
