where can i find a rom backup utility would appreciate any help

2 options:

use the bootloader menu to copy SE -> SD
or use XDAtools to copy ROM -> PC .nbf file

Does the XDATools work with the XDA II or only the XDA? I am new to the game of PDA's (still waiting for mine to arive, back ordered) but am wanting to get backups of my device incase I stuff any thing up and I just upload the image file back onto the unit and be back were I was?

Is this the type of thing the XDATools does?
when you back your XDA II up does it make a compleate Image? (as in the same as doing a image of a Hard Drive in a computer?)

maybe someone with XDA II can tell more ... I 'm still stuck with my lovely XDA I :) ... but in general, the SD back is the best and most secured backup method.

I'll give it a go, Might purchase a separate SD card for backup image!
